FX Bubbles asbl is a SFX special effetcs make-up training and services center located in Saint-Gilles, Brussels (Belgium).

The instructor

With his expertise in technical fields, Michael Loncin decided ten years ago to devote himself fully to his passion for robotics, strange creatures and their creation.

His creations range from the Cyclops mask with an animatronic eye for the theater (Odyssée - Théâtre du Parc) to the museum piece as part of the commemorations of the 1914-1918 war (Musée de la Médecine de l'ULB), passing by a vampire mask for Manneken-Pis, various horrific make-ups for television or the cinema or even decorative elements such as giant mushrooms for the Golden Wedding of King Albert II and Queen Paola, an event on which he was head makeup artist.

He also collaborates regularly with Germany, whether for opera (Faust by Gounod - Festspielhaus Baden-Baden), television (Sag die Wahrheit - SWR) or the Make-Up Artist Design Show in Düsseldorf where he was member of the jury of the German school competition several times.

He has also taught special effects make-up courses for several years in two renowned schools in Brussels and carried out demonstrations and workshops at various fairs abroad.
